Load shedding and utilities - dates and guides
How to find your area load shedding schedule, the difference between load shedding and load reduction, and who to call when your power does not come back.
Load shedding schedules are published per municipality, not nationally, because the switching blocks differ from area to area. Eskom publishes the schedules for its own supply areas and every metro publishes its own. Anyone offering a "load shedding look-up" that asks for your ID number is not legitimate.
