Email - the main channel
hello@findsastatus.co.za reaches the people who write and maintain the site. It is read by humans, usually within two or three working days, and it is the right address for everything below.
| What you want to tell us | What to include |
|---|---|
| A date is wrong or has changed | The page address, the date you believe is correct, and a link to the official source if you have one. |
| A deadline is missing | The body that published it and a link to the announcement or gazette. |
| A page is inaccessible or broken | The page address, your browser or assistive technology, and what happened. |
| An advertising or sponsorship matter | The page and, if it is an ad, a screenshot. We do not control which individual ads a network serves, but we can block categories and we do act on complaints. |
| A privacy question or request | What you want to know, or what you want removed. If you subscribed by email, include the address you subscribed with. |
Corrections and the public record
The data behind this site lives in a version-controlled repository, so a correction is a visible, dated edit rather than a silent change. If you would rather see the change recorded publicly than exchanged by email, you can open an issue in the repository. Either route works; email is usually faster for a reader and the repository is better if you want to follow the fix.
What happens after you write: we check the official source, update the record if you are right, note the change, and reply to tell you what we did. If the official sources contradict each other, we record both and explain the conflict rather than choosing a winner quietly. The corrections policy has the full process.
Write for us, or report a security problem
We are not hiring and we do not accept guest posts, sponsored articles or paid links - those are the fastest way for an information site to stop being trustworthy. If you have subject expertise and want to contribute to a guide, say so in an email and describe what you would correct or add.
For a security or privacy vulnerability, use the subject line "security" and describe the problem without sending any personal data. We will respond and credit you if you want.
